Mommy, Joi and the Boy: Flu

Still got it. The Boy is ok. Thank the Goddess. Mommy is down. I've never missed this much work at one time. We are keeping Healthy Choice in business - on our 2nd case of chicken soup.

We are...

...two moms (Mommy a.k.a. The Wife and Joi a.k.a. yours truly) who have a son (the Boy a.k.a. Mozart). Together for the better part of a decade and married for *gasp* seven years. It's legal here in the Happy Valley, where we live, and while our life isn't perfect, we couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Before the Boy, we were foster parents to a parade of kids and keep in contact with a couple of them. Money is tight, but love and watching the Boy and our other (former foster) kids grow up keeps us going. Mostly you'll hear about our day to day happenings, perhaps with a theme of kitchen projects and childhood antics - oh, and apparently, bats. Enjoy, visit often, and comment if you wish!
