Blueberry Heaven

The Boy eats his fill.

After a wonderful breakfast at our favorite breakfast place we went ventured out to the blueberry fields.  The Boy was in his bliss.  He plopped down and ate berry after berry after berry right from the bush.  After about and hour and a half he was tired of being on his own and he went into the Ergo.  But he still kept asking for more.  I think he ate an entire quart.  Lucky we didn't have do do the before and after weigh-in. 

In the end we collected 10 lbs of berries, which are now waiting to be packaged up and frozen.  My goal is to have enough berries in the freezer so that we can have one blueberry pie each month through the winter.  Haven't done the math yet.

I was going to make a pie tonight.  I may still.  But first to sort, package and freeze them.
